A fantastic start to 2024
The season got off to a great start despite the best effort of the weather,The first rally of the year at Mounts farm was a great success 24 vans on the rally field it was a bit chilly but the pub was nice and cosy,
Rally 2 Grendon Lakes ,touch and go for a while with all the rain ,A change of field suggested by Lucy at Grendon lakes saved the day and the rally was fully booked ,the sun even made an appearance, (no rain)
We still have some events needing Marshalls, if you would like to help out, please let myself or a member of the committee know. We can support you in lots of ways to run your own event ,from a quiet weekend to a weekend full of fun and games.
I look forward to seeing you on the rally field very soon and catching up over a cuppa or a beer or two in 2024. Lets hope we get some good weather this year
My Chairmans charity for 2024 is The Alzheimer’s Society which I and fellow committee members have unfortunately seen first hand how Dementia affects people, not only the person with the disease but also the ones that loose their loved ones twice.
